Terms of Service
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms cover AgentPad for Mac and its iPhone and iPad companion app (together, “AgentPad”), made by David McGavern (“we”, “us”), who publishes it as Loopware. By buying or using AgentPad you agree to them. Questions: davey@loopware.com.
Buying AgentPad
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to your purchase.
Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. We may change prices for new purchases; a price change never applies to a subscription period you’ve already paid for, and we’ll tell you by email before a new price applies to your subscription.
Your license
When you buy, you get a license key. It lets you use AgentPad on all the Macs, iPhones and iPads you personally use. Please don’t share your key or sell it on. The companion app for iPhone and iPad is included with every license.
- Forever — a one-time payment. You can use AgentPad for good, with every update included.
- Yearly and Monthly subscriptions — you can use AgentPad while your subscription is paid up. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
Subscribing to own it
Each subscription payment puts half of that plan’s listed price toward the Forever price, as shown in AgentPad ▸ Settings ▸ License. When the total reaches the Forever price, your key becomes a Forever license and your subscription is cancelled, so you aren’t charged again. You can pay the remainder at any time with Own It Now. If you cancel and later subscribe again with the same key, what you’d built up is still there. A refunded payment no longer counts toward it.
Cancelling
Cancel any time in AgentPad ▸ Settings ▸ License ▸ Unsubscribe…, or from the link in your Paddle receipt. AgentPad keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Betas
Beta versions are free for testers, stop working after a set date, and may have bugs or change at any time. They’re provided as they are, to help us test.
Coding agents and other services
AgentPad runs coding agents — such as Claude Code and Codex — and AI models you choose, using your own accounts with those services. Their terms and charges are between you and them. Agents can read and change files and run commands on your Mac and in virtual machines you set up; you decide what they may do, and you’re responsible for reviewing their work. AI output can be wrong.
Using AgentPad fairly
Don’t use AgentPad to break the law, to harm others, or to get around its license checks, and don’t resell it. We may turn off a key that’s been shared publicly, or used for fraud or chargebacks.
No warranty
We work hard to make AgentPad reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of your work.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for AgentPad in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Privacy
What we collect, and what we don’t, is in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when; if a change matters to you, we’ll say so by email before it applies to you.
